    2. To share information about a specific area/subject for 15 minutes – review, intro, pre-teach etc.
  2. Work Shop:
    1. A 10/15 minute practical or snapshot showcase of area e.g. new form, how an intervention works, how a special day will work the following week
  3. Main Body:
    1. Delivery of core CPD session
    2. Apply and Problem Solve:
      1. Opportunity to apply, role play, link to own setting/circumstances
  4. Review/Reflect:
    1. Summarise steps 4 and 5 (TP and as a group). Note down actionable target(s) to share in the review session.
  5. AOB

Below is a small summary of a few of these sessions:

Each year our staff members undergo First Aid training.  Some of them will do First Aid at work (6 hours) and some will do paediatric training (12 hours).  As a school we have Defibrillator on site and as such training is incorporated into our annual First Aid training programme.

This year we used Pegasus First Aid training and several members completed first aid at work.  Here is a picture showing us how to remove a lodged item from someone who is choking (previously called the Heimlich manoeuvre)
